HVAC Service Technician – Data Centre Cooling Towers
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join a growing specialist team focused on the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial cooling towers for data centres across Sydney NSW.
This is a hands-on field-based role with a strong focus on high-quality HVAC and cooling system work in critical infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and test industrial cooling towers on data centre sites
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, fault diagnosis, and repairs
- Carry out on-site troubleshooting and warranty rectification work
- Provide technical support and excellent customer service to clients on-site
- Complete detailed service reports, documentation, and quality records
- Assist with workshop assembly, testing, and production support when not on sites
- Work independently while maintaining strong safety and quality standards

About You:
- Trade qualified in Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related field
- Proven experience in HVAC service, installation, or maintenance (especially industrial or commercial cooling systems)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- White Card (essential)
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- Comfortable working independently and travelling to client sites
- Physically fit and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors
Highly Regarded:
- Confined Space, Working at Heights, or High-Risk Work tickets
- Previous experience with cooling towers, chillers, or data centre HVAC systems
Location: Based on the Central Coast, with regular travel to data centre sites across Sydney and NSW. We are seeking Sydney-based technicians.
