Freight Forwarding - Sales Representative

Position Overview:
Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting freight consolidation services. You will work closely with the Managing Director, operations and customer service teams to deliver seamless solutions to clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make frequent outbound calls to prospective clients to generate new business.
• Develop new business opportunities and manage client relationships for global consolidation services.
• Understand clients’ freight requirements and recommend suitable logistics solutions.
• Follow up on quotes, leads and sales opportunities to convert them into customers.
• Work with operations to ensure smooth shipment handling and delivery.
• Achieve sales targets and report on performance to management.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of calls, leads and client interactions.
• Monitor competitor pricing and industry trends.

Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in freight forwarding
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Results-driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
