About the Job
There is an exciting opportunity with the Rural Maintenance for a Backhoe Operator working from our Cascade Depot. This position involves the construction and maintenance of Shire roads and infrastructure, primarily responsible for Backhoe operations from our Cascade depot.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform backhoe duties as directed.
- Operate other plant (bobcat, loader, truck, roller etc) as required.
- Perform work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment.
- Ability and willingness to live onsite remote depot locations.
This is a full time position, working 85 hours per week.
About you
In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:
- ‘HR’ class license.
- Demonstrated competency and minimum one year experience operating backhoe.
- Ability to perform routine mechanical maintenance on vehicular plant.
- Ability and willingness to live onsite in remote depot locations.
Benefits
Salary: $87,075.26 per annum (including overtime)
