Home Services Officer (All-Rounder) | BlueCare | Warana Beachwood Aged Care Facility

  • Employment Term: Casual

  • Roster: Please clearly state your availability for shifts on your application questionnaire. Morning shifts can start as early as 6am. Afternoon shifts can finish as late as 8pm.

  • Location: Warana Beachwood Aged Care Facility

  • Remuneration: $30.05 p/hr ($37.56 p/hr casual) + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

About the role:

As a Home Services Officer, you'll help create a clean, welcoming and comfortable environment for residents in our aged care home, supporting their wellbeing and quality of life through activities that include:

  • Assisting with meal preparation, meal service and dining room support

  • Cleaning resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard

  • Providing laundry services, including caring for resident clothing and linen

  • Supporting residents with warm, respectful and person-centred service

  • Following food safety, infection control and hygiene practices

  • Working as part of the hospitality team to deliver quality daily services

Role requirements:

  • Experience in hospitality, food services, cleaning, laundry or a similar role

  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing quality service

  • Understanding of food safety, infection control and cleaning practices

  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
