About the Company
Our client is a global leader in scientific innovation and advanced manufacturing, supporting the development and production of critical therapies and technologies. Based in Brisbane, their facility specialises in clinical and commercial manufacturing within a highly regulated environment.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join their team on a casual basis, supporting quality systems and ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards.

About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will support the Quality team by maintaining quality systems, assisting with equipment validation, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and approving equipment validation documentation
  • Supporting the management of deviations, CAPA, and audit findings
  • Maintaining document control processes
  • Updating SOPs and controlled documentation to meet regulatory standards
  • Assisting with the ongoing management of the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Providing general quality assurance support across the site

About You
You are a motivated and detail-oriented professional looking to further develop your career in Quality Assurance within a regulated environment.

You will ideally have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Science (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or related discipline)
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a GMP-regulated environment
  • Experience with quality systems, documentation, deviations, or CAPA processes
  • Exposure to manufacturing, laboratory, or cleanroom environments
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with QMS or document management systems (e.g. TrackWise, SAP, EDMS) is advantageous
