About Hall Contracting
Working at Hall Contracting means taking ownership of your future.

With more than 250 employees currently working across Australia, Asia, and the Pacific, you’ll be part of a respected and growing organisation delivering complex marine and civil projects. We offer a supportive team environment, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to contribute to the reliability and performance of a diverse fleet of dredging and marine assets.

About the Role
Hall Contracting is seeking a highly organised and experienced Leading Hand Diesel Fitter to join our Maintenance Team on a 2:1 FIFO roster, supporting projects throughout Australia.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this role combines hands-on mechanical work with day-to-day team leadership. Unlike some Leading Hand positions, you won’t be sitting behind a desk managing from a distance. You’ll be on the tools, leading by example, coordinating maintenance activities, troubleshooting issues, supporting your team, and helping keep our fleet equipment operating efficiently and safely.

Successful applicants will ideally be based in Brisbane or on the Sunshine Coast, although candidates based in other locations may also be considered.

Why Join Hall Contracting?

  • Competitive FIFO package.
  • $500 tax-free working away from home allowance.
  • 2:1 roster with projects across Australia.
  • Join one of Australia's leading marine infrastructure contractors.
  • Diverse fleets of marine, civil, and heavy equipment.
