The Company
This established, family-owned hospitality venue in South of Brisbane is looking for an experienced Senior Duty Manager to join its leadership team.
With a diverse operation spanning gaming, restaurants, bars and functions, the venue offers an opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to take genuine ownership of day-to-day operations while leading and developing a strong team.

The Role
As Senior Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the daily operation of the venue, ensuring each shift runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of service, compliance and team performance.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you will be responsible for overseeing multiple areas of the venue, supporting your team and ensuring guests receive an exceptional experience.
You will be responsible for:

• Leading day-to-day gaming, restaurant and bar operations
• Taking responsibility for shifts and ensuring smooth service across the venue
• Maintaining high standards of gaming, liquor and hospitality compliance
• Overseeing functions and events from planning through to delivery
• Leading, coaching and mentoring team members across multiple departments
• Developing staff through structured training and ongoing support
• Monitoring service standards, venue presentation and operational performance
• Supporting senior management with the effective running of the business

The Candidate
We are looking for an experienced hospitality leader who is confident managing a busy, multi-faceted venue and enjoys developing people.
To be successful, you will have:

• Proven experience in a Duty Manager, Senior Duty Manager or similar leadership role
• Strong experience managing gaming operations within a hospitality venue
• A solid understanding of gaming, liquor and hospitality compliance
• Experience across restaurant, bar, functions and events operations
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a diverse hospitality team
• Confidence running shifts independently and making sound operational decisions
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• A hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for hospitality

The Opportunity

• Permanent Senior Duty Manager position
• $80,000 – $90,000 + Superannuation
• Senior leadership role within an established hospitality venue
