A-Grade Electrician – Solar & Battery Systems (SAA Accredited)
- Install and maintain solar PV and battery storage systems for residential and commercial projects.
- Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with Australian standards and safety regulations.
Our client is seeking an experienced A-Grade Electrician with current Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) accreditation to join their growing team based in West Perth. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with experience in solar PV, battery storage systems, and general electrical work across residential and commercial projects.
Working with leading solar and battery technologies, you will be responsible for installations, commissioning, maintenance, fault finding, and ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with Australian standards and industry requirements.
What you'll be doing:
- Installing, commissioning and maintaining residential and commercial solar PV systems
- Installing and configuring battery storage systems and hybrid inverters
- Carrying out electrical installations, upgrades, maintenance and fault finding
- Completing testing, compliance checks, commissioning and required documentation
- Diagnosing and rectifying solar, battery and electrical faults
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
- Working closely with customers, builders and project stakeholders
- Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and customer service
What you'll need:
- Current WA A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Current Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) Accreditation
- Battery Endorsement or willingness to obtain
- Experience installing solar PV and battery storage systems
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Working at Heights certification
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical and solar standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
