Your new company
Hays are partnering with a well-established Tasmanian organisation seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their leadership team. Your new role
Based in Hobart, you'll report directly to senior leadership and work closely with stakeholders across the business. This position offers a broad mix of financial leadership, business partnering and operational responsibilities, providing the opportunity to influence decision-making and drive positive outcomes across the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparation and analysis of monthly management reports
Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
Providing commercial insights and financial support to key stakeholders
Monitoring financial performance and identifying improvement opportunities
Driving process improvements and strengthening financial controls
Leading and mentoring finance team members
Supporting strategic projects and organisational initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
As the ideal candidate, you'll be CA or CPA qualified and possess previous experience in a Finance Manager, or Senior Finance position. You'll have strong technical accounting capability, experience preparing financial reports and budgets, and a proven ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
You will also demonstrate strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of an organisation.
