Supporting a busy fleet operation, this organisation is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operator to join their team on a part-time basis. An immediate start is available, with the opportunity to progress into a long-term full-time position for the right candidate.
Your new role
Working within their warehouse, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring stock is accurately managed and available when required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving, storing and dispatching stock
- Forklift operation and material handling
- Stock control and inventory management
- Picking, packing and preparing orders
- Maintaining accurate warehouse records and system updates
- General computer-based administration
- Conducting stock counts and reconciliations
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
- A current forklift licence
- Experience with stock control and inventory management
- Confidence using computer systems and warehouse software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive and reliable work ethic
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
