About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Client Service Officer to join a well established and growing accounting practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administration professional who understands the unique demands of a public practice accounting environment and enjoys supporting a team of accountants and advisors.
  
Reporting to the Partners and Senior Accountants, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice, delivering exceptional client service, managing workflow administration, and supporting the team through key compliance and lodgement processes.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Partners, Managers, and Accounting staff.
  • Prepare and format client correspondence, reports, financial statements, and engagement documents.
  • Coordinate client onboarding and maintain client records.
  • Manage workflow, deadlines, and job tracking systems.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and client reviews.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be organised and proactive with a high attention to detail, and an understanding of Public Practice Accounting businesses.
 
Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working within a public practice accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of accounting practice administration and compliance processes.
  • Experience working with accounting and practice management software.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
