Westvic Staffing Solutions, in partnership with Cann River P-12 College, are offering an Education Support Traineeship which commences in Term One 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is genuinely interested in working with children and would like to gain experience working at a school.

Cann River P-12 College is a remote rural school that delivers a highly focused curriculum from Prep – Year 12. We are able to deliver a wide range of subjects due to our flexible approach in planning for each group of students. Our aim is to develop productive citizens with positive pathways to the world of work and society.

We are looking for someone who will:

• Care for students social, emotional and physical needs
• Have a positive attitude and effective communication skills
• Enjoy helping students to participate in school activities
• Support the development of Literacy & Numeracy skills
• Maintain confidentiality and abide by Child Safe practices
• Follow instructions and work independently
• Complete online study requirements for a nationally recognised Certificate III, IV or Diploma School Based Education Support qualification
• Be reliable, respectful, organised, conscientious and committed
