Monadelphous are seeking an experienced SMP/Rigging Supervisor to join our PNG Operations team on a 6 month contract, based in PNG on a 4:2 roster.
Reporting to the Site Manager, this position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily activities of work crews; ensuring compliance with internal, client, and legislative HSE requirements; and ensuring that the quality, production, and environmental requirements of the project are met.
What you will bring:
- 5+ years’ supervisory experience working in oil and gas or mining sectors
- SMP / Rigging background
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a national workforce in the field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills and demonstrable experience achieving tight deadlines
- Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment
- Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport
- Experience working in PNG or remote locations (highly regarded)
