A specialist allied health therapy team in Mebourne is seeking an experienced and self-directed Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary practice on an independent subcontractor basis. The Role

The OT will use a person-centred approach to deliver high-quality, flexible, and responsive disability support services. The primary mission is to help older people and individuals with a disability improve their independence in daily living.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing therapeutic interventions for clients under NDIS, TAC, and WorkSafe services.
• Assessing and implementing strategies to improve clients' daily living skills and adapt their home and community environments.
• Assisting participants with supported independent living, accommodation options, and daily personal activities.
• Working collaboratively with an allied health team to ensure holistic client support.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and maintaining accurate clinical documentation and records.
• Supporting community participation and the development of social skills, potentially through engagement in programs such as adult day programs or school holiday activities.
