Clinical Manager - Aged Care

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to join our Salem Aged Care Service and play a key role in ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred clinical care.
Location: Toowoomba - QLD
Employment Type: Full Time | Monday to Friday | 8 am - 4 pm
About The Role:
As Clinical Manager, You'll provide strong clinical leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary care team, driving excellence in medication management, care planning, clinical governance, and resident outcomes reporting to the Service Manager.
- Lead person-centred care planning and delivery
- Oversee clinical governance, quality, IPC and risk management
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Aged Care Act 2024
- Manage Direct Care Minutes and oversee AN-ACC funding applications
- Lead, coach and mentor clinical/care staff; manage rosters and performance
- Manage clinical budget and supplies
About You:
- Nursing qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Clinical leadership experience in Residential Aged Care and experience leading clinical teams.
- Demonstrated capability in clinical governance, including quality systems, audits and risk management
- In-depth knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding model, Direct Care Minutes, & regulatory requirements under the Aged Care Act 2024
- Experience overseeing AN-ACC assessments, care planning and clinical documentation
- High-level clinical assessment, reasoning and decision-making skills for residents with complex needs
- Experience in workforce planning, rostering and resource management aligned to resident acuity
Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification or IPC Lead certification
- Budget management experience
- QLD Driver's Licence
