Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel as second in charge to the General Manager, taking full responsibility in their absence
• Support the General Manager and Heads of Department through the hotel’s transition, rebranding and refurbishment
• Partner with the Revenue, Reservations and F&B teams on weekly forecasts and yield strategies to maximise occupancy and average rate
• Conduct daily room inspections with Housekeeping and Maintenance, and drive the preventative maintenance and spring clean programs
• Review rosters and control departmental expense and payroll budgets with Heads of Department
• Maintain a high profile in the foyer, building relationships with VIPs, corporate clients and regular guests, and resolving guest feedback promptly

What You’ll Bring

• Strong leadership skills and experience across all areas of hotel operations
• Experience with Opera Cloud PMS and F&B POS systems and equipment
• Strong financial knowledge, including forecasting revenue and expenses across the hotel
• Experience writing a hotel budget and a hotel business plan
• Effective written and verbal communication, with excellent organisation and time management
• Flexibility with hours and days of work
