Switchboard Builder / Panel Wirer - Glendenning, NSW | Immediate Start | 1 Month Contract | $40-$55 per hour
Your new companyOur client is a well-established electrical manufacturer with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality switchboard and power distribution solutions across a range of commercial and industrial projects. Due to increased workloads, they are seeking an experienced Switchboard Builder to join their workshop team in Glendenning for an immediate start.
Your new roleWorking in a fast-paced workshop environment, your duties will include:
- Building and assembling electrical switchboards
- Panel wiring and component installation
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Copper bending and busbar installation
- Conducting quality checks and testing of completed assemblies
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience building electrical switchboards or control panels
- Strong panel wiring experience
- Experience with copper bending and busbar installation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
- Applications are welcome from fully licensed electricians as well as overseas-qualified or unlicensed electricians with relevant switchboard experience
