Join a leading gold mining operation and play a key role in supporting open pit production through the delivery of accurate survey services across mine development and operational activities. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract with a well-established site and work alongside a high-performing technical services team.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate survey support to mining operations, ensuring compliance with mine plans and assisting the site to achieve production targets safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct set-outs, pickups and as-built surveys across the open pit operation.
- Produce survey plans, reports and volume calculations.
- Maintain and manage survey control networks.
- Support drill and blast, mining and technical services teams.
- Ensure survey data is captured accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in an open pit mining environment.
- Proficient in Surpac, Vulcan, Deswik or similar mine planning software.
- Experience using Leica, Trimble or Topcon survey equipment.
- Strong understanding of mine surveying practices and statutory requirements.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary technical services team.
