Your new role

• Provide WHS, workers compensation and injury management advice across the department.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and support safety initiatives.
• Coordinate WHS audits, compliance activities and reporting requirements.
• Manage return-to-work and rehabilitation processes for injured employees.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of WHS policies, systems and procedures.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in WHS, safety, injury management or workers' compensation.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and compliance requirements.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, audits and risk assessments.
• Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and provide advisory support.
• Excellent organisational, communication and reporting skills.
• Qualifications in WHS, Injury Management, HR or a related discipline are advantageous.

What you'll get in return

• Weekly pay structure
• 2-month contract with possible extension
• Mon-Fri 37.5 hours p/w
