Your Next Adventure

The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.

Talent Pool Opportunity

This recruitment process will establish a talent pool for current and future Lecturer (Plumbing) opportunities across TAFE SA. Applications may be considered for multiple vacancies and locations that arise during the life of the talent pool.

Got What It Takes?

• Industry Expertise: Minimum 5 years’ experience with current knowledge of the plumbing industry
• Mandatory Trade Requirements: Relevant Certificate III and/or Certificate IV Trade qualifications and appropriate licenses
• Technical Knowledge: An ability to demonstrate an understanding of educational and teaching methodologies within the framework and delivery of plumbing training package qualifications. Ability to develop and design delivery and assessment material within the range of Plumbing qualification.
• Qualification: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/40116/40122) or commitment to acquiring within 12 months of employment

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
