Hays is partnering with a leading construction contractor delivering a major project in Goulburn. With work commencing in November, we are seeking qualified Electricians and Supervisor Electricians to join the project team for an initial 12-week assignment. These positions offer excellent rates, consistent hours and the opportunity to contribute to a major construction project.
Your new role
Electrician / Supervisor Electrician$70.00 - $80.00 per hour (full inclusive rate)
Working as part of an experienced site team, you will be responsible for electrical installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance activities while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Duties may include:
- Electrical installation and fit-off works
- Cable installation and termination
- Testing and commissioning activities
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
- Supervising and coordinating site work where required
- Maintaining compliance with safety and quality requirements
Roster: Monday to Friday
Hours: 10-hour days (50 hours per week)
Location: Goulburn
Duration: Initial 12-week project commencing in November
What you'll need to succeed
Current Electrical LicenceRelevant trade qualificationsPrevious experience as an Electrician or Supervisor Electrician on construction, industrial or infrastructure projectsAbility to provide a recent working reference from within the last 6 monthsStrong commitment to workplace health and safetyReliable transport and ability to commute to the Goulburn project locationFull Australian working rightsWhat you'll get in return
