Our multidisciplinary clinic provides comprehensive, evidence-based care to individuals experiencing sleep disorders, respiratory conditions, and co-occurring mental health challenges. What we offer

What we are looking for

We are seeking two Psychologists or Clinical Psychologists to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based psychological care for individuals experiencing sleep difficulties and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Clients present with sleep disorders (predominantly insomnia, circadian rhythm disturbances) which often co-occur with anxiety, depression, PTSD, neurodivergence, and other mental health concerns.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a supportive, research-informed team.

Essential criteria

  • A relevant qualification in psychology
  • Experience in behavioural sleep medicine and CBT-I, or a willingness to develop expertise in this area
  • Full registration as a psychologist or clinical psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Eligibility for a Medicare provider number to offer rebated services
  • An Australian Business Number (ABN) and professional indemnity insurance
  • A high standard of ethical practice and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Desirable attributes

  • Previous experience working in a health psychology setting and/or private practice.
  • Familiarity with ACT, EMDR, mindfulness-based approaches, or other evidence-based therapeutic modalities relevant to sleep and mental health.
  • An interest in contributing to research, program development, or training initiatives within the Institute.
  • Registered as a Psychologist for workers' compensation.
