We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to join a professional engineering organisation in Perth.
This opportunity is ideal for Mechanical Engineering students or recent graduates looking to gain practical Australian industry experience in mechanical design, engineering projects, technical documentation and engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with mechanical design and engineering projects
- Support the preparation of technical drawings and specifications
- Assist with CAD modelling and design modifications
- Conduct engineering calculations and technical research
- Support equipment inspections, testing and maintenance activities
- Assist with project planning and technical documentation
- Collaborate with engineers on engineering solutions
- Gain exposure to Australian engineering standards and workplace safety procedures
Skills & Requirements
- Currently studying or recently completed Mechanical Engineering or a related qualification
- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar CAD software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and develop practical engineering skills
Previous engineering experience is advantageous but not essential.
