Are you an experienced Project Coordinator who thrives in complex project environments? We have an opportunity for a highly organised and proactive professional to support the successful delivery of infrastructure, utilities, engineering, and maintenance programs. In this role, you'll work alongside Project Managers, Program Managers, and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and in line with business objectives.

About the Role
You will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of complex programs and portfolios through effective project controls, reporting, governance, and performance management. You will provide visibility across cost, schedule, risk, and project performance while ensuring consistency and transparency in reporting and delivery processes. 
Key Responsibilities include - 

  • Coordinate project activities and integrated delivery plans across multiple projects
  • Monitor milestones, schedules, dependencies, risks, and issues to support successful project outcomes
  • Prepare and maintain project reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Support governance activities including meetings, agendas, minutes, action tracking, and project controls
  • Maintain project plans, documentation, trackers, and records to ensure data integrity
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and resource utilisation
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment and communication
  • Support compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and governance frameworks
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned activities

About you
You are a detail-oriented with strong coordination and reporting capabilities. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and have the confidence to engage with a wide range of stakeholders. You will have a background in utilities, infrastructure, engineering, construction or maintenance services.

  • Experience in project coordination, project controls, program support, or a similar project delivery environment
  • Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects or programs
  • Strong understanding of project governance, scheduling, reporting, risk management, and financial controls
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using project controls tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Power BI, or similar
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organisational skills
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to undertake site visits when required
  • Ideally you will hold a qualification in Project Management, business or construction
  • PRINCE2, PMBOK or equivalent PM certification highly regarded
  • Construction white card (desirable)
