About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Automotive Parts Interpreter to join our friendly team. This position does not serve only Mitsubishi brand but all brands offered by our growing dealership.
In this role, you will carry out the following duties:
- Preparing accurate parts quotations for customers and internal departments.
- Handling customer enquiries promptly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Keeping customers updated on parts availability and estimated arrival times (ETAs).
- Ordering parts and accessories based on upcoming deliveries and scheduled customer service bookings.
- Unpacking incoming freight and receipting invoices and delivered items into stock.
- Binning and storing parts and accessories in their designated locations.
- Pre-picking parts and accessories to meet daily job and workshop requirements.
- Booking parts and accessories to the relevant repair orders.
- Carrying out local collection and delivery of parts when required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skillset and qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, with a good understanding of automotive parts.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional phone manner.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail when handling quotations, orders and stock.
- Ability to use computer systems and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop environment.
Salary: $40 - $50 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience.
