We are looking for an experienced, energetic and customer-focused Part-Time 2IC / Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Clarks Westfield Mt Gravatt.
This is a key leadership position supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store, team performance and delivering a high standard of customer service.
Required Availability
This position has a set weekly roster, and applicants must be available for the following shifts:
Monday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Thursday: 2:00pm – 9:00pm
Friday: 12:00pm – 3:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 5:00pm

About the Role
As our 2IC, you will work closely with the Store Manager and take responsibility for the store when the Manager is not present. You will help lead the team, drive sales and ensure our operational and visual standards are maintained.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Store Manager with daily store operations
- Leading the store and team when the Store Manager is not present
- Driving sales, conversion and individual/team KPIs
- Delivering exceptional customer service and product knowledge
- Coaching and motivating team members
- Providing customers with professional footwear fitting and styling advice
- Maintaining strong visual merchandising and store presentation standards
- Opening and closing the store, including cash-handling procedures
- Assisting with stock deliveries, replenishment and stock management
- Supporting compliance with company policies and procedures
- Creating a positive, accountable and results-focused team environment
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous retail experience, ideally in a 2IC, Supervisor or Assistant Manager capacity or willing to take the next step.
- Is confident leading a team and working independently
- Has a strong sales and customer-service mindset
- Enjoys working towards KPIs and store targets
- Is reliable, organised and takes ownership of their responsibilities
- Has strong communication and people skills
- Is hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Can commit to the required roster listed above
- Previous footwear experience is an advantage but is not essential. Full product and fitting training will be provided.
