Your role
You'll take ownership of the Produce department and everything that makes a great fresh food operation tick.
From keeping the department looking its best to leading your team and driving results, you'll have real ownership and the opportunity to make your mark.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching and developing your team
- Managing ordering, stock levels, rotation and waste
- Driving sales, margins and department performance
- Maintaining outstanding freshness, quality and presentation
- Ensuring food safety and compliance standards are met
- Creating a positive experience for both customers and your team
About you
You're an experienced Produce or Fresh Food Manager who knows how to keep a department running at its best.
You'll bring:
- Previous Produce or Fresh Food leadership experience in a supermarket
- Strong knowledge of fresh produce, stock control and merchandising
- Experience leading and developing a team
- Commercial awareness and confidence working with sales and margin targets
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A hands-on approach and positive attitude
- The ability to thrive in a busy retail environment
