THE POSITION

• Cleaning of hospital wards, patient rooms and outside areas.
• $38.45 per hour including casual loading
• Shifts available Monday - Sunday 7AM--8PM at Long Bay Hospital situated in Malabar (Sydney).
• Safe use of cleaning chemicals and cleaning tools.
• Assist with other duties as required. Work as part of team.

THE PERSON

• This job would be suitable for a local resident in Sydney's eastern suburbs or inner suburbs.
• Cleaning experience in a similar environment desirable but not essential.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and ability to work independently and unsupervised as required.
• Experience operating cleaning equipment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of, and adherence to, all applicable policies relating to Workplace Health and Safety, Manual Handling Practices and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
