Spreader Truck Operator/Plant Operator

BildGroup's Stabilisation team runs crews across regional NSW, and this one is based in Moama. The work is varied -- you'll move between the microstabilisation powder spreader truck and a range of plant including bobcat, roller, water cart and excavator, depending on what the project needs that day. Some work is direct BildGroup delivery; some is on client project sites. Either way, you're part of a settled, experienced crew that knows how to get the job done.
If you're coming from asphalt, road maintenance or mining and you know how to handle heavy plant and a truck, this role is worth a look.

What you will be doing

• Operate the microstabilisation powder spreader truck and rotate across plant including bobcat, roller, water cart and excavator as project needs require
• Load and spread stabilisation powder accurately, applying correct techniques to prevent spills or product loss and meet project specifications
• Complete delivery and production records accurately, including quantities, locations and any issues encountered
• Perform pre-start and basic maintenance checks on all plant and vehicles, and report faults to your supervisor promptly
• Work safely within all site requirements, WHS legislation and company procedures, including those relating to hazardous materials transport  

What you will need

• Current, valid HR licence
• Current driver licence
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Hands-on experience operating heavy vehicles and at least some of the following: bobcat, roller, water cart or excavator
• Availability Monday to Friday, with capacity to work weekends and public holidays when the project schedule requires

• Useful, but not essentialA background in asphalt, road maintenance, civil construction or mining transfers well to this role. Experience on microstabilisation or cement spreader trucks is an advantage but not required -- the crew will get you up to speed.
