About the Role 
The Strategy Manager will primarily be working with ANZ and Global Leadership to develop and deliver strategic initiatives that drive organizational success. This includes responsibilities across the whole strategy development lifecycle from issue identification, problem structuring, internal and external analysis, initiatives development, execution planning and strategy execution.

Responsibilities and Duties
Strategy Development

  • Conduct external market analysis to understand the competitive landscape, market trends, technological landscape and anticipate disruptions and identify potential opportunities
  • Structure complex problems and develop robust methodologies and frameworks to solve them
  • Lead strategic projects, including market entry strategies, sales strategies, product strategies and others, in alignment with global strategic outcomes and initiatives

Strategy Execution and Steering

  • Translate global and regional strategy into operational execution frameworks, aligning teams and systems around strategic pillars of revenue growth, operational efficiency and new business acceleration
  • Develop execution plans and roadmaps to deliver on agreed strategies, ensuring ongoing alignment and buy-in from all stakeholders
  • Lead and steer multi-stream transformation initiatives and execution plans from inception through to delivery, ensuring ongoing alignment to business strategy, cross-functional execution and ensuring transparency of results and outcomes
  • Work with Sales, Client Management, Supplier Relations and other teams to jointly drive commercial strategies that elevate client value, maximize supplier revenue and are aligned to global strategic priorities

Other Leadership and Strategic Support

  • Work with leadership to develop the strategic narrative, including building communications collateral to articulate the strategy
  • Work with leadership to develop and prepare for business reviews (E.g., QPRs)
  • Actively contribute to global executive forums, providing strategic insight, operational intelligence and leadership perspective, while ensuring ongoing alignment to global strategic priorities
  • Drive strategic messaging with clarity and confidence, ensuring alignment of operational teams to CTM’s long-term vision and commercial objectives

 About you 

  • 3+ years’ experience in strategy, consulting, or senior commercial transformation roles.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver strategies that drive revenue growth and measurable ROI.
  • Experience producing Board-level materials and influencing C-suite stakeholders.
  • Background in travel, technology, fintech, or supplier-side industries desirable.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Exceptional problem structuring, financial modelling, and business case development skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen in supplier economics, payments/fintech, distribution, and ESG.
  • Gravitas to influence executives and Boards with clarity and impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to craft compelling strategic narratives.
  • Future-oriented thinker with ability to anticipate market shifts and identify long-term opportunities.
  • Highly collaborative, adept at working across matrix global environments.
