We are seeking a motivated Assistant Site Supervisor to join our Operations team and contribute to the success of our essential grain-handling sites in the WA Wheatbelt. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in site management, working alongside experienced professionals and gaining hands-on experience.

About the Role

As the Assistant Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the Site Maintenance & Operations Supervisor in the day-to-day operations and supervision of our grain receival sites. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to take on responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise daily operations across the sites, ensuring all grain receival, storage, and outloading activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including growers, carriers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and professional service delivery.
  • Assist with and oversee routine and preventative maintenance, ensuring it is performed on all equipment to ensure maximum availability, operating efficiency and longevity.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring strict adherence to all Bunge and WHS policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ensure site safety, bunker hygiene and maintenance of grain quality in storage to reduce stock loss.

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years' leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in an Operations or Logistics industry.
  • High level of interpersonal skills, including assertiveness, communication and time management.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office and data management systems.
  • Effective communication skills with strong interpersonal skills to manage teams and build relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Confident problem-solver with sound decision-making abilities.
  • Valid and current Driver's Licence; Heavy Rigid (HR) licence highly desirable
  • Permanent Australian Work Rights required
  • Be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and randomised Drug & Alcohol Testing
