Our Client a global medical company with cutting edge products is seeking a an experienced Commercial Analyst.
The Role you will be supporting the execution on strategy and will deliver commercial positive outcomes across the business via strategic, tailored and customer focussed pricing and commercial solutions. Support the business shift from operational to strategic pricing mindset.
Working closely with the commercial pricing manager to create new and innovative commercial offerings utilizing pricing and as a growth lever allowing the organisation to better maximize pricing opportunities while reducing price leakage.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for assisting with key strategic pricing initiatives
• Support commercial pricing manager in setting, implementing measuring the effectiveness of pricing strategies
• Support the execution of strategic pricing initiatives including annual price increase
•Overall support commercial pricing manager by providing ad-hoc analysis
•Support updating of local pricing systems
Skills / Experience:
• University Degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, marketing or MBA
•Advanced Excel
•Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
•Experience with pricing
• Problem solving skills with bias towards solution development
• Strong cross coloration experience working with cross function team
Preferred Experience:
• Strong business acumen, keen eye on customer focus both internally and externally – understanding the market environment
•Experience in conducting gross to net analysis creating complex analytical models and preparing business cases
•Ability to understand & communicate financial analyses
•Solid strategic and analytical skills using large amounts of data
•Knowledge of medical industry preferred
Temporary role until March 2023 with the view to extension
