We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Maintainer to join our Signalling team based at our Qantas Drive depot, with travel around the SEQ Network required.
For this role, you must possess the Certificate III in Mechanical Rail Signalling to be considered.
In the role of a Systems Maintainer, your responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical signalling equipment within the Southeast Queensland (SEQ) rail network. You will be part of a team comprising both electrical and mechanical signal maintenance experts collaborating closely. Your work will involve a diverse range of rail-specific infrastructure, including Points Machines, Level Crossings, and Pedestrian Crossing Mechanisms.

- Work a 9-day fortnight dayshift, rostered nightshift when required
- A starting salary of $72,000 with potential earning up to $120,000 - including penalties (based on qualifications) + superannuation
- Travel on paid work time including expenses

In this role you will
- Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical signalling equipment
- Be able when required to travel throughout SEQ network and Regional QLD.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with WH&S requirements
- Undertake accurate and timely administrative and recording duties
- Review and improve current work procedures and practices
- Must have the flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required.
