At Greenstaff Medical, we’re looking for passionate and experienced Registered Midwives to join our casual pool across Melbourne and greater Victoria. Enjoy the freedom to choose when and where you work — while making a real difference in the lives of women and families.

Earn $53.01 – $101 per hour (weekday rates) — well above the Nurses Award.

Our clinical and recruitment teams are available 24/7 to ensure you’re supported before, during, and after every shift.

Work in a variety of maternity and birthing settings, expand your clinical exposure, and gain new skills with every shift.
Rewards That Recognise You
We celebrate your hard work and commitment. Refer a fellow midwife or nurse and earn up to $500each once your friend completes 120 hours (within 3 months).
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking professional and caring Registered Midwives who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and love the variety that casual work offers.
You’ll need:
- Minimum 1 year of midwifery experience in Australia (or recognised experience from UK, Ireland, Singapore, USA, or Canada)
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Midwife
- Current CPR/BLS, Practical FSEP, and Practical NNR
- Infection Control and other relevant clinical competencies
- Valid Australian working rights
- Current WWCC (Employee) and National Police Check
- Flu and COVID-19 vaccination records
- iEMR training or willingness to complete for VIC Public Hospitals
