Green by Nature is looking for an experienced 4000-D Mower Operator and a hands-on leader with a strong commitment to quality and safety, to maintain and enhance green spaces across multiple open space sites in Southeast Queensland.
As a Mowing Team Leader - 4000-D Operator, you will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing open spaces, and roadside works. You will operate a 4000D mower to ensure our landscapes remain pristine and well-kept. You will also be required to drive an MR truck, transporting the 4000D mower between sites.
🌱 What You'll Be Doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
👥 Leading, mentoring, and motivating your team to achieve outstanding results.
🚜 Operating 4000-D mowers, brush cutters, and other maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
🌿 Maintaining roadsides and open spaces to the highest standards.
🛠️ Conducting daily equipment inspections and ensuring machinery is well maintained.
📋 Completing scheduled maintenance and service requests.
🦺 Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures.
🤝 Working closely with your team while leading from the front.

✅ What We're Looking For
You'll bring:
✔️ Previous experience operating commercial mowing equipment is preferred.
✔️ Previous experience leading or supervising a team (highly regarded).
✔️ Construction White Card.
✔️ Current and valid MR or HR licence.
✔️ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
✔️ Strong communication and leadership skills.
✔️ Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
✔️ A commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
✔️ The ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
