genU Training is looking for a passionate and experienced Sessional Trainer with a background in community services to inspire and upskill the next generation of care professionals. As a trainer, you’ll share your knowledge, bring industry practice to life, and help learners deepen their expertise to make a real difference in their communities.
This role can primarily be completed online, we're looking for someone based anywhere in WA!
What you’ll do
As a Sessional Trainer in our team you will:
- Deliver the CHC32015 Certificate III in Alchohol & Other Drugs in online and classroom settings.
- Assess learner competencies and give constructive feedback
- Complete reporting and compliance tasks to a high standard
- Contribute positively to the genU Training team and overall student experience
What you’ll bring
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent
- Relevent education or experience within Community Services, alchohol, drugs or mental health, .
- Recent experience working in a community services or tangible setting.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a genuine passion for professional development and lifelong learning.
- Confidence in delivering engaging face-to-face and online sessions and managing digital learning tools effectively.
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between locations
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Orientation Module Certificate and Working With Children Check – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
