About the Role
The Laundry Operator is a vital member of our care team delivering a quality and personalised laundry service that maintains the health, dignity and choice of clients. This includes ensuring clothes are washed, dried and ironed in accordance with the schedule and as per the recommended process for each garment and identifying and reporting repairs to a relevant member of the care team.
About You
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Experience or ability to provide domestic/laundry services in a residential aged care or similar setting
- Demonstrated positive attitude towards older people including an understanding of their needs
- Demonstrated awareness and ability to comply with legal and aged care standards, in particular, occupational health and safety (OH&S) and infection control standards as relevant to the position.
- Proof of rights to work in Australia (subject to Vevo check)
