Assistant Accountant role | Brisbane CBD | $80,000 - $85,000 + Super

Your new companyThis leading Australian company that is currently in a growth phase is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their high-performing finance team on a full-time permanent basis. Based in Brisbane CBD, their office is conveniently located close to public transport and to a variety of cafs, restaurants and Queen Street mall.
Your new roleReporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• End-to-end accounts receivable
• Reconciliation of bank, general ledger and balance sheets
• Preparing financial reports
• Intercompany accounting
• Cash flow reporting
• Assisting with preparation and lodging monthly BAS statements

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

• Completed Degree and have ideally commenced your CPA or CA studies
• Experience in a similar role within a corporate environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

***This role is not a graduate position; you will need to have previous month-end experience to be considered***
