Digger Fitters - 2/2 FIFO Perth
- Conduct scheduled servicing, inspections, and mechanical repairs on heavy mining excavators.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and diesel engine systems.
- Complete maintenance activities across 12-hour shifts in accordance with site procedures and safety standards.

We are seeking qualified and experienced Digger Fitters to join our mobile plant maintenance team across major mining operations in the Pilbara. These roles are focused on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, breakdown repairs and component change-outs on CAT and Liebherr mining excavators.
PREMIUM Role
- Conduct scheduled servicing, inspections, fault diagnostics and mechanical repairs on heavy mining excavators.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical and diesel engine systems.
- Carry out major component change-outs and repairs, including engines, hydraulic pumps and motors, swing drives, final drives and undercarriage components.
- Inspect, repair and maintain boom, stick/bucket assemblies, hydraulic cylinders, hoses and associated attachment systems.
- Read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical schematics to perform effective fault-finding and diagnostics.
- Identify defects and emerging maintenance issues to maximise equipment reliability and availability.
- Complete maintenance activities across 12-hour shifts in accordance with site procedures and safety standards.
PREMIUM Requirements
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent.
- Demonstrated hands-on maintenance experience with CAT and/or Liebherr mining excavators.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities across hydraulic, mechanical and diesel engine systems.
- Previous experience with breakdown maintenance and major component change-outs.
- Current Manual Driver's Licence.
- National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months.
- Full Australian Working Rights.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening.
- Relevant High Risk Work licences such as Working at Heights, Forklift and Dogging/Rigging are highly regarded.
