BMS Electrician – Commercial Projects & Service

Permanent Full-Time | $59/hr + Penalties + Super | Vehicle & Phone

CrewSELECT is recruiting a WA Licensed Electrician with BMS (Building Management Systems) experience for a permanent role combining commercial installations, upgrades, and service work.

You’ll take ownership of small projects from the initial installation through to testing and commissioning, alongside diagnosing and repairing existing systems.

The work

Working across commercial buildings and office HVAC fit-outs, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Installing mechanical electrical systems and associated controls.
  • Completing new BMS and Direct Digital Controller (DDC) installations.
  • Retrofitting and upgrading existing DDC controls.
  • Testing and commissioning electrical and control circuits.
  • Tracing faults using electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Repairing mechanical electrical and BMS control systems.
  • Managing small jobs from start to finish and communicating with clients throughout.

The package

  • $59/hr + penalties + super, including the site allowance applicable to work outside the workshop.
  • A further $3/hr increase planned in the coming months.
  • Company vehicle and phone.
  • Permanent full-time position.
  • Occasional overtime available.

What you’ll bring

You’re confident working autonomously, take pride in your workmanship and can build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

You’ll also need:

  • A current WA Electrical License — essential.
  • A minimum of one year’s relevant BMS installation experience – essential.
  • A current driver’s license and Construction White Card.
  • LVR/CPR within 12 months.
  • Functional English skills to communicate clearly and understand job requirements.
