CrewSELECT is seeking 2 reliable Workshop Pickers/Sorters to join a busy recycling facility in Hemmant.
Help recover valuable materials from construction waste while securing consistent weekday work, full training and a genuine opportunity to progress into permanent employment.
What’s on Offer
- Day shift: $35.60/hr + penalties + super
- Afternoon shift: $40.94/hr + penalties + super
- Monday–Friday work with no rotating rosters
- Immediate starts with 6+ months of ongoing work
- Weekly pay and full training provided
- Opportunity to secure permanent employment
The Role
- Pick and sort construction materials along a moving conveyor line
- Separate timber, steel, concrete and general waste into designated streams
- Use hand tools and shovels to support material flow
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow site safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Work with the team to keep production running safely and efficiently
What We’re Looking For
Reliability, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
You’ll also need:
- Capacity to perform repetitive manual work throughout your shift
- Comfort working in a dusty recycling environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Reliable transport, including for early starts
- Unlimited Australian working rights and availability for at least 6 months
- An LF forklift licence is advantageous
Wearing a P2 respirator is mandatory. Applicants must remain clean-shaven where the mask seals against the face.
