This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded engineering team working on some of Australia's most significant infrastructure, utilities, energy, transport, and industrial automation projects. Whether you're an experienced SCADA Engineer looking for your next challenge or an Automation Engineer with strong SCADA experience, we'd love to hear from you.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the design, development, configuration, testing, commissioning, and ongoing support of SCADA and industrial control systems across a variety of complex projects.Working alongside experienced engineers and project teams, you'll play a key role in delivering reliable and innovative automation solutions for critical infrastructure customers.
Key responsibilities
- Design, configure and deploy SCADA systems
- Develop HMI and operator interfaces
- Integrate PLC, RTU and field devices
- Perform FAT, SAT and commissioning activities
- Support control system upgrades and migrations
- Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA and communications issues
- Work closely with customers, project managers and engineering teams
- Produce technical documentation and design specifications
About you
- Experience working as a SCADA Engineer, Automation Engineer or Control Systems Engineer
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems
- Experience with SCADA platforms such as Citect, Geo SCADA, ClearSCADA, Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC or similar
- Exposure to PLC systems including Schneider, Siemens, Rockwell or Allen-Bradley
- Understanding of industrial communications and networking
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
