• Hours: Up to 40 hours per week

Your new companyJoin a large Queensland public sector organisation delivering a significant digital modernisation program. The program is replacing complex legacy platforms with contemporary Microsoft-based solutions to improve operational outcomes, customer experience and long-term system supportability.
Your new roleAs the Senior Project Manager Technical, you will lead the end-to-end technical delivery and operationalisation of a major payment management solution. You will coordinate delivery across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, integration, reporting, data migration and payment calculation workstreams.Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining a rolling technical delivery plan across design, development, testing and deployment.
• Managing cross-team dependencies, risks, assumptions, critical-path activities and release readiness.
• Coordinating architecture reviews, environment planning, deployment sequencing, testing and integration activities.
• Working with internal ICT teams, implementation partners and external stakeholders to resolve technical blockers.
• Supporting release planning, cutover preparation, go-live readiness and transition into operational support.
• Providing clear reporting on delivery progress, milestones, risks, dependencies and forward planning.
• Collaborating with data and analytics teams to ensure appropriate information foundations and interdependencies are effectively managed.

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful, you will bring:

• At least six years experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex, business-critical ICT solutions.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical delivery through vendor or implementation partners.
• Strong knowledge of agile or iterative software delivery, cloud technologies, cybersecurity and data management.
• A recognised project management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
• Experience applying established project management frameworks, preferably PRINCE2 or PMBoK.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience delivering projects across architecture, analysis, technical design, testing, training, change, implementation, warranty and handover.
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid visa permitting you to work in Australia
• Experience delivering financial systems, payment solutions or data-related transformation projects will be highly regarded. Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Fabric, SAP or similar enterprise technologies would also be advantageous.
