An exciting contract opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Senior Finance Analyst to help transform reporting, analytics and decision-making across a growing multi-site organisation. The business is at the beginning of its reporting journey and requires an experienced analyst to build robust management reporting and Power BI dashboards from the ground up. This role will play a key part in establishing the analytical foundations, processes and reporting frameworks that will support the business long after the contract concludes.Working closely with operational and finance stakeholders, you will translate large volumes of operational and financial data into meaningful commercial insights, helping leaders make more informed decisions. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to leave a lasting impact on how the business measures performance.
Your new role

• Design and build Power BI reporting solutions from scratch
• Develop dashboards covering occupancy, labour costs, wages and key commercial metrics
• Create meaningful management reporting and performance analysis
• Partner with operational and finance stakeholders to identify reporting requirements
• Improve data visibility, consistency and reporting governance
• Develop scalable reporting processes and documentation
• Deliver actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Help establish best-practice analytics frameworks that can be maintained by future team members

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a technically strong Senior Finance Analyst, Commercial Analyst or FP&A professional with the ability to bridge finance, data and business operations.You will demonstrate:

• Strong Power BI development experience
• Advanced financial analysis and business partnering capability
• Experience building reporting frameworks in environments with limited existing infrastructure
• Strong data modelling and reporting skills
• An inquisitive and commercially minded approach
• The ability to work independently and influence stakeholders across the business
• A passion for turning complex data into practical business insights
