Senior Data Developer || 9 Months Contract || $800-900/Day Plus SuperLocation: Geelong, VIC (3 Days/Week in Office)
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Data Developer to support a major transformation program focused on modernising claims and recovery services. You will help maintain continuity of data, reporting and analytics while uplifting data ingestion, modelling and transformation capabilities for a new technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise for the design and implementation of data and analytics solutions.
- Develop reliable data sourcing, integration and transformation pipelines.
- Lead system optimisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design secure, scalable data environments aligned with operational and product needs.
- Partner with data architects, analytics teams, technology teams and business stakeholders.
- Support the design, prototyping and production of trusted data and analytics assets.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years experience in software development, data engineering or a related field.
- Advanced programming skills and experience with infrastructure as code.
- Strong capability across cloud technologies and systems administration.
- Proven experience in database design, data modelling and data warehousing.
- Experience with BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik or SAS Visual Analytics.
- Good understanding of Agile delivery methods and
- CI/CD practices.
- Strong stakeholder communication, prioritisation and organisational skills.
