Job Description
The successful GP will provide **high-quality, patient-centred medical care**, including assessment and management of acute and chronic conditions, preventive health care, health assessments, referrals and ongoing patient care.
**Key responsibilities include:**
• Providing comprehensive GP consultations and clinical assessments
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions
• Providing preventive health care and patient education
• Ordering and reviewing pathology and imaging
• Referring patients to specialists and allied health providers as appropriate
• Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records
• Providing appropriate follow-up and continuity of care
• Working collaboratively with doctors, nurses and practice staff
• Maintaining compliance with Australian clinical, professional and privacy requirements

**Essential Selection Criteria:**
• VR GP with current AHPRA registration
• FRACGP/FACRRM or equivalent
• Eligible for a **Medicare Provider Number** for the practice location
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centred, high-quality care
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Current professional indemnity insurance and commitment to CPDAbout the practice
• Well established practice in the area with good patient load
• AGPAL accredited
