Trade Assistant

We are seeking an eager and motivated Trade Assistant to join our Trailer Shed in Coffs Harbour on a full time basis.

This role is well suited to someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys a hands-on approach.

What You’ll Do

This role is well suited to someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys a hands-on approach:

• Assisting qualified tradespeople with mechanical repairs and panel work

• Preparing vehicles, components, and work areas for mechanical work

• Using hand and power tools to support mechanical tasks

• Preparing surfaces for fibreglassing (cleaning, sanding, masking)

• Mixing resins and applying fibreglass materials under supervision

• Trimming, sanding, and finishing fibreglass components to specification

• Supporting repairs to vehicle bodies, panels, and structural components

What You’ll Bring:

• Prior experience working in a mechanical workshop environment

• The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

• Have an eager and positive mindset

• Clear and concise communication skills

• Motivated, reliable and a good work ethic
