I'm working with a highly regarded project management consultancy that has built a strong reputation delivering healthcare, aged care, education and community infrastructure projects across NSW.
Due to continued growth and a secured pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of two significant projects valued at approximately $10m and $35m.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative consultancy where you'll have genuine project ownership, direct client exposure and the opportunity to work on projects that positively impact local communities.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of major projects from planning and design through to construction and handover.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing project budgets, programmes, risks and stakeholder expectations
- Leading consultant, contractor and client coordination meetings
- Managing procurement, tendering and contract administration processes
- Driving project governance, reporting and approvals
- Overseeing design development and construction delivery
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Degree qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Property or similar
- 8+ years' experience in client-side project management
- Experience delivering projects valued at $20m+ within the Australian market
- Exposure to health, aged care, education, government or community infrastructure projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience managing projects through design, procurement, construction and handover
- A collaborative and relationship-focused approach to project delivery
