Your new roleWe are seeking an experienced Watercart Operator to join a busy civil construction team on a 6-month assignment across multiple sites throughout the ACT.Working across a variety of civil construction projects, you will be responsible for operating a watercart truck to support site operations and dust suppression activities. While the majority of your time will be spent operating the vehicle, you may also be required to assist with general labouring duties as needed.
Your duties will include:

• Operating a watercart truck across multiple civil construction sites
• Carrying out dust suppression and site maintenance activities
• Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic vehicle inspections
• Safely operating a Manual Road Ranger gearbox
• Following site safety procedures and project requirements
• Assisting with general labouring duties when required
• Working independently while maintaining communication with site teams
• Ensuring equipment is maintained and operated safely at all times

• A current HR Licence (essential)
• Minimum 2 years' experience operating heavy vehicles or trucks
• Demonstrated experience operating a Manual Road Ranger gearbox
• Previous experience operating a watercart within civil construction environments
• Strong understanding of site safety requirements and procedures
• Ability to work autonomously and manage daily responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist with labouring duties when required
• Previous experience on road, infrastructure, subdivision or civil construction projects highly regarded
