Job Description

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise category performance primarily in packaging.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct market analysis and bench marking to identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with agreements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain.
• Utilise data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Category Manager should have:

• Proven expertise in procurement and category management within the FMCG industry.
• Preference for strong packaging background
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and market research to support decision-making.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of contract management and risk mitigation practices.

What's on Offer

• Competitive salary range of $150,000 to $160,000 AUD + super.
• Permanent role based in North West Sydney.
